Ok I have has this phone for over a year now and just recently started texting alot..I have been texting someone with the same number for over a month now and all of a sudden, the phone will not alert me through ringin when this person sends me a text. By this I mean, when you get a text, it will ring as if you were getting a call, for this person and this person only, it will recieve the text as thought I have gotten it and read it.

The phone will not ring or anything to tell me I have a new text. Its almost as thought I have seen it already. Im not sure why it is only for this one person. whoever can give me any help, it would be appreciated. thanks!

I just realized this morning that when this person text me, the light on the front screen does come on to tell me he has text me. Still no ringer, but The light does come on...Better then nothing I guess..lol...

try setting the ring style to "loud". then check the loud details to see if you have a valid sound configured for incoming messages
