Verizom v3m/sms/mpt issue

Greetings.

I don't know what happened, but I can no longer retrieve inbox SMS's. I'm using the latest MPT, and when I use the option to retrieve SMS, after a minute or so the phone says that it is charging, and MPT claims that it is initializing, and a bluetooth icon appears on my phone which goes away after it re-initializes. When I check my SMS's through MPT, all I have are the ones I sent, nothing in my inbox...

I tried reinstalling MPT and it still doesn't work right.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, that new contacts aren't showing up when I try to send them a text through MPT, even after synchonizing...

I don't think retrieving SMSes works on the Verizon V3m. The commands were never implemented in the phone software to retrieve the messages.

It sort of works on Alltel/USC, I believe.

When I first installed the software, I was able to retrieve the original 3 sms messages that I had in there, but none of the others since then.
