9500 Crashing when I try to open email

Yesterday I started having problems with my 9500 for the first time and they seemed to be getting worse. Each time I have gone to check e-mail, the system locks and I get the following error message:
Program Closed
Program: Resolver_Thread
Reason Code: MSGS Client
Reason Number: 3
When this happens, I then have to reboot the whole phone, which then seems to be operating much slower then usual. Does anyone have any ideas as to what's wrong and what I can do to fix it? I could really use any help! Thanks in advance.
