Copy pictures to SLVR via OS X?

I just got my SLVR and wanted to put some pictures on it to then set as wallpaper. In the manual it makes it seem as though all you need to do is plug it into you PC and then drag and drop to the corresponding folders. When I plug it into my mac, the phone shows as a mounted drive, cool. However there is no data in any of the folders and when I put a .jpg into the wallaper folder it does not show up on the phone...

What am I doing wrong here? Is it just not that simple?

put the pictures in mobile/pictures folder in the mounted drive.

Bluetooth the picture to the phone after syncing the phone with your Mac.

I put the pictures in the picture folder on the mounted drive. Do the pictures have to be a specific format/size?

I do not have bluetooth on my mac pro, yet....
