I just got my Nokia 5300 firmware updated last night...

I have been searching all over the net for the firmware change-log and improvements on this new firmware:V 03.92 13-10-06 RM-146.

As to my 3.92, the only difference I noticed was that I CANNOT anymore CHANGE my "standby font color". The option to change still exists but there is no difference to the main screen as it used to happen in my previous firmware...

Can someone post the bug fixes and improvements of this version?

wats the reflashing software, and wats the stand by font color is that just the color of the words on the main menu and everywhere else, cuz if so i have the same problem

About the Standby Font Color... You have got it right. When many Series 40 3rd Edition Nokia is idling, it will shows a wallpaper (and end-user preset active standby shortcuts or navigation shortcuts) on the screen. It is called "Standby Mode". Since different wallpapers may have different colors and brightness, changing the font color in standby mode will allow users to read the words easier. Go to Menu > Settings > Display > Standby mode settings > Standby font colors

I believe the latest firmware is out. I'm using V 04.49, 3-01-07, RM-147.

Hey usual, did you get our 5300 from Tmo? If not and your 5300 is unbranded can you look under your battery and post your product code?

The unbranded product code should be 0538115 as I bought it in HK. I am actually having the same issue where I can't change the standby font colours now.

Please note that the RM-146 is the GSM900/1800/1900 variant and RM-147 is the GSM850/1800/1900 one.
