hi
i bought a tmobile pearl and am planning to sell it to a friend who's got cingular. is there any way i can change the startup image and the shutdown image? if you buy unlocked pearls online what logo do they have?

You'll have no problem using an unlocked pearl on Cingular, but AFAIK there's no way to change the startup and shutdown images. Even changing the firmware doesn't change the sequences that play.

You can't change the splash screen as they're hard coded in. This has been discussed before and therefore I am closing this thread.
