After searching through here a bit, I couldn't find much info on this phone, but from what I saw, Alltel has basically crippled the phone. Does anyone have any info on using it with MPT or any computer programs to put on ringers wallpapers etc? It's the Alltel prepaid one btw.

Crippled? This is a pretty basic phone to begin with, so I'm not sure what could be crippled on it. You might ask in the Alltel forum, but when I tried to pair this phone (a US Cellular version) with MPT, it worked fine.

I have tried out phones extensively in a VZW store and have noticed more hiss in the earpiece of the Moto W315 than other Motorola phones, and, for that matter, ANY other phone that VZW currently carries. Could be because Motorola is using a cheaper chipset than other Moto phones?
