8910 pissing me off

ok i have made my own ringtones for all the phones i have owned..... for some reason this one is being a _________. i have read through the forums and read through the forums for the past 3 and a half hours.... i have done everything that has been suggested.... BUT I CANNOT GET MY effing COMPUTER TO RECOGNIZE MY PHONE...... any suggestions?

My daughters 8910 was confusing too. Since all my other phones were recognized. Assuming you are using BitPim. After you hook up the phone, go to edit/settings and try different com ports. After you choose a new com port, click on the file system folder. If it expands, your ringtones will go into the sounds folder. The other funtions of BitPim don't seem to work with this phone. So I just use it to move ringtones. It does not recognize the phone, so ignore all other funtions except file system. I hope this helps.
