I used PPC6700 for 10 months before changing carriers/phones (b/c of foreign travel/SIM swapability). I ported my Sprint phone number to Cingular (and paid all charges to Sprint), so I assume the ESN should be fine for you. It's in very good shape and worked fine, before I put in the drawer.
