Hi everyone. I have being searching for the answer to the following question for over three days, but I havent found an asnwer yet, and please excuse me if it has being posted before. I have a brand new Krzr from Sprint and I was looking to see if there any seems to edit the OBEX option on the Krzr. Sprint has dissable the option to receive/send files, ringer, etc. on the Krzr and I buyed the phone under the impression that the phone had this capability. If its imposible to edit any seems to enable this option? I will really apreciate any help from u guys!

not sure if it's sprint i believe it's motorola that has disabled the feature but you have to get the latest version of motorola phone tools software... not sure but i think its 4.3.6. this will allow you to do all of the above that your trying to do

Hello again guys!!!

I was not clear when I was talking about OBEX transfers. I can send things to the phone using a PC. I am referring when trying to receive/send something (pictures, ringer, etc.) from other phones. I know that with Moto software u can do many things, but my question is concerning bluetooth transfer with other phone. I will appreciate ur help!

i couldn't send any files to my friend.
but my friend send me pictures, ringtones, and videos using his bluetooth. My phone seemed to accept it and stuck it in the appropriate place,
pictures - in camera
videos - in video
ringtones -in sounds.

so it does work.

Hey Guys,

I have a new Sprint KRZR K1M as well and i've tried using motorola phone tools latest edtion. I can transfer ring tones to the phone or other such audio files, midi, mp3, wav etc, however the problem i have, is after i transfer them to the phone, i go into the settings to set the ring tones and they play as silent. they don't play at all to where i can hear them. and sometimes they even come up as showing 0 seconds long.

Also a secondary quesiton, how to unlock the bluetooth services? ie, to allow the phone to be seen as a modem over bluetooth via the computer etc. I'm using both win xp and osx.
