Is there an upgrade or expected upgrade to allow the W810i to do T9 word completion and next word prediction? I saw that the newest phones have this. I hoped this phone was new enough that it could be brought in, like some of the other phones that could be upgraded to a different model's firmware.

What are you talking about? The w810 has T9. Read your manual.

Yes, of course it has T9. But it does not seem to have where it guesses the rest of the word and the next word you will do (in a grey font). Got this on a review of the K800:

The new cool feature is something called Next Word Prediction (NWP). When writing a message or note, and the T9 spell check and the T9 Text Input is activated, the NWP will predict next word previously used in a sentence. It can be very useful, but requires some practice before you get used to actually look at text while you write.

Interesting feature. I hardly SMS with my phone, so I don't have much of a problem..Not sure how we would get it, though...We can't even extract the Walkman player from the W800, but this might be possible.

sounds kind of wierd. I would have to get used to it. Kind of like suretype on the m600. It would take some time.
