I am considering a Virgin Switch_Back; I haven't gotten it yet.

One feature I need is to be able to use the phone as wireless modem. I have a local dialup ISP so I don't need any net service through Virgin. I've done it with other phones so I know how slow it is, but it works for what I need. Will the regular Curitel drivers or Kyocera phone tools allow this?

Also, the only place I see with the data cable listed is Kyocera's website, and they want $45 (for cable and CD), and say it's backordered. Who else sells the cable for this phone? I checked many other places but none have it in stock.

About the only other things I want is to load an address book onto the phone, maybe mess with the wallpaper and ringtone. I see people cannot get the bluetooth unlocked but I have not much use for that anyway.

i got MPT and the cable on ebay for 25$ plus s&h. it has been totally worth it. username of the seller was talkaccessories. maybe he has more?
