I've used my old Moto flip phone for three years now and am looking to switch to the BlackJack very soon. One trouble that I had with my old phone was that the ringtones it came with were terrible. There were only about five that were actually ringtones. Everything else were "blips" and what not. Does the BlackJack come with some good ringtones? I know "good" is subject to personal opinion, but just in general. Because I don't want to have to purchase a whole bunch of ringtones from Cingular just to get a few decent ones on my phone. --- I'd love to be able to set my own uncut, full-song mp3's as ringtones for individual callers, including my default ringtone, but from what I can tell, this is a tedious process and not very user-friendly for inexperienced cell phone users. Is the BlacJack capable of having various uncut mp3 files used as ringer ID's? If so, is this a difficult process? Would I have to purchase a separate program to do this? Thanks for your time, cheers! |

I'm on the fence with purchasing this phone and my main concern at this point is battery life. If this phone is going to die on me while I'm out and about, then I'd rather steer clear of it and just opt for something else. Granted, I don't need my phone glued to the side of my face, but I do use it a decent amount. I'm a student and I wouldn't be able to charge it while I'm out (and carrying around the second battery in my pocket isn't very appealing, no matter how I look at it). On a daily basis, I need: - At least 2 hours of talk time out of my phone. - Check email once or twice (likewise with responding to them). - A decent amount of AOL Instant Messaging. (I'm not sure how IM'ing is measured, but I usually have about 5 conversations for about 10 minutes each, but that's a rough estimation.) I will probably never use its Bluetooth features. And I would need it to last me a full 12-hour work day (from about 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM). Provided that I switch off the 3G feature, would I be disappointed by the BlackJack's battery life? I don't know if this matters, but I do have a habit of charging my phone everynight, so that's not a problem. Thanks for your time, cheers mate. =) |

Any suggestions on how I can stream some videos? -todd |

But that's annoying. Anyone have a solution for this or is this just me? |
