Blackjack SMS Sent Alert

After an SMS message is sent it gives you an alert telling you, your message has been sent.

Does anyone have a tested registry hack to remove this annoyance.

Please only respond if you have an answer. Thanks in advance.

Answer: Hint - It's a registry edit. (The search function is your friend!)

EDIT: OK, I couldn't stand it any longer...

If you hate the sent message confirmation that is displayed after you send an SMS message, use the following registry hack to disable the confirmation message.

Select Start and open a registry edit app.

1. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox
Enter Inbox, select Menu –> File, New Key

2. Name the New Key as “Settings”

3. Click on “Settings” and select Menu –> File, New String Value

4. On “Value name:”, enter in SMSNoSentMsg and in value data “String”, enter 1

5. Soft reset your device and test by sending an SMS, the confirmation message should not display.

i did this and it works great but when i do a mms it does the same confirmation. does anyone know how to turn off the mms

Though I used to find the confirmation an annoyance, I have grown tired of finding texts in my 'Drafts' folder that I thought had successfully been transmitted, but apparently failed for whatever reason. I actually wait for the confirmation now. I wish if a text fails, the notification would stay displayed until acknowledged by the user.

Advice: Check your 'Drafts' folder often!

on the same note, is there a function on the blackjack to notify if a sms has been read?
