Update on parameter problem with Lg 9800

I had posted earlier about a problem I was having when I tried to move some pics and songs onto my Lg 9800 memory chip. I would get an "incorrect parameter" message.
On another part of this website, I found some instructions on going into the registry and changing a few lines of script. I didi this, and my computer talked to my card for a few moves, but then stopped again.
So, I plugged my chip and its adapter into an old laptop, and it worked fine.
So, screw it. I'll just use the old laptop as an annex for my phone music and pics, and not bother with my home pc. Its too bad that we always have to compromise on all this stuff, and we still have to pay for everything as if it worked properly.
