how does the dash compare as an mp3 player?
are the head phones loud enough?
is it similar to the sidekick's mp3 player(sound quality)?
Is it recommended as an mp3 player?

if you can afford to, i'd suggest using T-Mobile's 14-day trial period to test the phone yourself. that way you can be assured it meets your needs (re: answers your questions). happy new year!

since i've gotten my dash, my nano just sits on my dresser unused. i bought an adapter so i can use my sony earbuds (i dont like the spongy headphones). as for how loud, i used mine while i hit some pretty gnarly trails on my mountain bike and didn't need to turn the volume higher than about 60%.

i can't address the comparison to a sidekick, tho.

oh, streaming sirius on the dash kicks AZZ!!!
