Is Ramble IM sluggish on the 8700G?

I'm making the move back to the Blackberry from my Sidekick (Been a user since the BW) but used the Blackberry periodically.

Last BB I used was the 7290 and the Pearl, but didn't use the Pearl long enough to install apps.

Ramble was HORRIBLE slow on the 7290, is it better on the 8700G?

If it is sluggish, are there any faster IM programs?

I don't notice any slowdown or freezes on my 8700G.

worked fine on my 8700c and now my 7130c.

The 8700g has a faster processor, 32MB of additional RAM. Your 7290 experience could have been a result of the slower processor and less available memory.

Don't hesitate to convert. The BB OS is lacking a few of the HiptopOS's features, but it's reliability (device and service-wise) more than make up for some missing functionality.
