Hello:Happy New Year 2007!
How can I transfer ringtones and photo to my Verizon Motorola V260 using MPT. I try but the multimedia section in MPT are Inactive.

you need a seem edit on the phone to enable the ability to transfer files. then, go into MPT setup, change the phone to a v710m or v265m, whichever you have on the list, and away you go.
look in the motorola subforum of verizon for complete how-to's.
