Can I remove the carrier logo from my screen?

I have the BB Pearl. My carrier is Cingular. In the upper middle portion of my screen it says Cingular. Can I remove that? Or can I change what it says?

That is what they call the "Alpha Tag" and it usually can not be changed. It is there to tell you what network you are attached to.

Sure! Just pull the SIM card.
