S620 & Dash Question

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hi All,

I currently have a T-mobile Dash but am looking to get an unlocked S620. What are the primary differences between the two besides the S620 being unlocked. I believe the S620 doesn't have T9 text input so is the default ABC (type and go?).

Thanks!

T9 on a qwerty keypad device. Lol.

what carsmovies means is that the s620 doesn't have t9 or predictive like the dash.

Yeah, exactly LOL.

One of the quirks I have about the T-mobile Dash is that the default key entry is T9 which is annoying as hell.

t9 is a program for a cell phone with a regular keypad. What you're talking about is word completion.

yup, the dash uses xT9 and not T9

Hey guys, I have one more question... Does the S620 have the LED blink green just like the T-mobile Dash?

Also, what is the small button to the right of the center LED indicator here on the s620: http://www.europe.htc.com/z/pdf/pro...RODSHT_FRNT.pdf

it has the same led system.

as for the bump, i have no idea what it is on the link, but it's not on the s620 or dash

The other main difference is the JOGGR software and scroll. The Dash doesn't have it and the S620 does.
