Won the blackberry pearl and started playing with it today. I'm used to verizon service and verizon phones. I've read through forums after forums but I'm still really lost. Probably because I'm not used to T-mobile or their phones. I just have a few questions and please just try to answer them instead of directing me to anoter forum...

Question 1: How do I get ringtones on the phone?

Question 2: Where's the program (on the phone) that allows you to download stuff for the phone (ringtones, wallpapers, games, etc.)?

I'm totally confused on how this phone is suppose to work and any information will be greatly appreciated!

How to load ringtones has been discussed in other threads. I'd do a search for it. As for the desktop manager it's on the cd that came in the box. If you didn't get a cd you can download it off of the web.

Look for the T-Zones application if you want to buy ringtones that way. The Pearl comes with a USB cable, though, so I don't see why you'd want to pay for them. Just use a program like power mp3 cutter to make 45 second snippets from your favorite mp3s and transfer then transfer them using the BlackBerry desktop manage

edit: The free trial version of power mp3 cutter limits you to 60 seconds or less for your snipped mp3s but that's obviously more than enough time for a ringtone
