I took the phone apart today, and did notice some corrosion on the pin thingys on the end of the flex cables. Maybe the corrosion is causing two pins to short each other out or something???

Why ? I don't know. Probably to keep someone who breaks/loses their phone today, calling and getting theinsurance and getting their phone replaced tomorrow under the insurance. It would make more sense to have a 30 day waiting period before you can replace the phone. But... I'm not in charge. |
