I am trying to flash my Switch_Back so that it can be used on my new carier. The problem is I can't get into the programming menu. I have tried the SPC codes:
847446
111111
000000
040793
333333
123456
987654
098765
If there are any I missed or any that might help there would be many thank you's posted.

The SPC is derived from an algorithim. Either you will need to get it from the current service provider or have someone access the security file to get it.
On many of the newest software versions, the security file is so will hidden that this is now virtually impossible.
Since so many businesses have been doing this (they buy deeply discounted prepaid phones and reflash them), the carriers are losing a lot of money on subsidies. Kyocera has now created some amazing security features in their handsets to prevent this.

what carrier is your switchback are oreginally? Look like it virgin mobile by those code but i had to ask anyway. If it a virgin mobile you need to get into the programming menu by typing the following:
##847446 end (end is the power button) and when it ask for the SPC you put in 111111 and there you are good luck

Won't he still need the SPC once in?

I was able to work out the problem with a program called Plinksoft.

My wife's Sprint Lg PM350 phone broke. I have insurance but I don't want to pay the deductable . We are acutally eliligle for the full upgrade... the problem is sprint doens't offer any good SMS phones. My wife saw the verizon Envy commercial and hinted that's what she wanted. VM has this switch_back and that's very close.
I'm trying to find someone to flash the VM phone to Sprint. the original poster said plinksoft.com fixed the problem, but I don't have a data cable so I don't see how it could help me.
I called a few local wireless companies and so far only found one that is across town. they however charge $35 to flash the phone. Is that a reasonable amount? I heard it people normally only charge $15-$25?

The amount is reasonable but Sprin WILL NOT activaye any handset not in it's internal database so do not waste your $$.
