Please help!! Kx1 Soho

I've got a Kx1 soho through alltel, and its worked fine for months, then today all of a sudden, it freezes, and it wouldnt do anything, so i took the battery out and put it back in trying to correct the problem, but nothing, it gets to the alltel screen and sometimes my main screen..........and i just found out, that if i press a button, or dial something quickly, it will react and do whatever i pressed, but after that, it freezes up again, even mid-call.....i really need help, i have no clue whats going on

There are so many possibilties. Could the phone have gotten wet?
Was it dropped?
Some more details would be helpful.

No, it hasnt gotten wet, or dropped, i dont really have any details to give, because i cant recall anything happening, i had just got done sending a text, then it froze.......and now i can get it to respond, if i press a button as soon as i turn it on, but then it freezes a few seconds later

My first thought would be to reflash the software. We see this from time to time with Kyoceras, but not usually the Soho.
