o2 ICE memory problem

hiya, i dont know were i shud of posted this so sorry if its in the wrong place.

ive just brought the 'o2 ice' and ordered a 1g micro SD for it,, thats come 2day but when its in the phone it can not be accessed thru the phone, usb to pc, or thru the software that came with it, that jusr comes up with a message sayin unknown error when ever i click the external memory tab... ive tryed the card in another fone and it works fine,, when replaced back in the ice it says 0B available when im on the manage memory option but there is nowt on the card to use any of the space up,,,, when i try to brouse the drive thru windows it says please insert disk can not format it or nothing,,, this is driving me mad,, ive been intouch with o2 and they fobbed me off with a load of tripe,, so just wouldered any body out there clever to help,,,,, any help wud be great.

Hi, Also having the very same problems with my Ice Phone as well. Memory id Viking and it's a 1GB. Memory works in PC with adapter.

Are O2 selling duff gods ??

I don't own this phone but *maybe* the phone can't read larger memory cards - I know there is an issue with certain older Sharp phones not being able to read 2GB cards... for example. Have you tried a 512MB card, just to make sure?

nope, i ordered mine, and it came with a free mem card 1gb, and it works fine, so nothing wrong with o2 on that front!

hiya, i had the same problem as u with the ice phone. if the make of 1gig memory card is o2 take it bk as they are duds most of them. i went to the o2 shop today n they replaced it but im still havin problems as it still says memory full wen i got a gig left. x
