HELLO MOTO! I found Motorola PST 7.2.3 on this Russian website. Virus free, working and unzipped with WinRAR.

Now when I run the newer MultiFlashFlex or the older version 1.8 my phone isn't recognized via the USB Port. Whe trying to configure the software it appears it's looking on COM 1 for the phone.

Do you have experience with Motorola PST General? Can you help me configure this version for my phone on a USB Port?

What is the deal, is Motorola making these sites remove links, shutdown etc? Why is this so difficult to find?

Because the only places allowed to use the software are Motorola approved service centers. Downloading and use by unauthorized parties is no different than using pirated software. It is not legal.
