Hey. I'm new here but a long time watcher. Anyways, I was wondering how to remove all the scratches on the silver ear piece on my Blackjack. Yes, I know I'm obsesive compulsive/ADD but its really bothering me. I tried brasso but that didn't work. Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks!

I really don't think you will be able to pull that off, sorry.

I'm not telling you to do this, but......

Theoretically you could perhaps take a small knife and pop the silver bar off and goto a Cingular store and do the same off the demo and pull the old switch-a-roo.

You might try some plastic polish.

phone prices are pretty reasonable right now.. what does a warranty exchange have to do with phone prices anyways? the manufacturer is the one replacing the phone, channelled thru cingular.

maybe talk to the manufacturer, it's kinda sad when jo1's ear is scratching his phone

First no one said his ear was scratching up the device. I would guess it is from his pocket or dropping the device.

As for what sending a "scratched" device back, you are causing Cingular to spend more money with the warranty processes and pulling a device out of warranty inventory that could and should be used for it.

Why do people think warranty devices are free for Cingular/OEM/Customers?
