I'm using letstalk.com at the moment to look for a good deal and I want to start a new plan with cingular.

there are many phones i can get for free before and after rebates(with a 2 year plan), but after reading many reviews, I can't seem to find out which phones are actually sturdy and have the most reliable reception because mostly people are just talking about how well the gadgets included on them function.

any recommendations? I really dig phones that can do a million different things, but I want to make sure its first and foremost a solid phone, both physically and celluarly(if thats a word), oh and good sound quality as well.

I assume that you are sure that Cingular will provide a good signal where you will be using the phone.

Other than a solid phone, what are your other requirements/needs/wants/wishes?

you know, actually after doing some more reading, im not so sure i'm going with cingular for sure. I'm moving to Nashville, and I want to make sure my provider has very good coverage there.

A decent battery life is something I forgot to mention. Though I've gotten in a habit of charging every day so it doesn't have to be a super battery. I'd prefer a phone with a decent camera too. but thats about it, any other feature would be great but not mandatory.
