just got my 902sh in the mail like 20 min ago.. lol.... everytime i go into the options area it gives me a reprovisioning thing.. kinda annoying.. i do have the ferrari firmware just dont know.. anyone know how to get rid of it? i'll keep posting here about new finds i find :P

get someone to flash it for u to hk and it'll solve this problem

next wall: i have my contacts on my outlook is there anyway to use the SD card to move them to my phone? i cant find my bluetooth key otherwise i would use that way... and until i find it my SD card is the only way to move stuff back and forth XD..thanks :P

extra question ! : anyone know how to change the voicemail number? so i can just push and hold 1? it keeps dialing a +819************* like 12 digit number.. thanks :P

hmm for the flash light it says press and hold the C button.. not really a C button on there.. i tried the clear button but that didnt work so what button is it really lol.. dont really wanna press and hold every button down
nvm figured it out. its the button below the camera button XD...

haha the one i got is orange so yea

.. but its got that whole reprovisioning... until i can get someone to flash it or buy the cruiser cable i'm going to have to press NO everytime i go into settings.. which is kind of a pain in the butt.. but its something i can live with :P. but holy cow this phone is big :P

cruiser cable is used for unlocking AFAIK

I am pretty sure the 902sh Ferrari firmware shouldnt have re-provisioning.

do a master reset and the repro should go away. its possible that the person flashed it from JP to Ferrari and didnt do a master reset after.

after flashing, it is ALWAYS recommended to do a master reset to remove all instances of the old firmware in the volatile memory. the reprovisionging is something that stuck around form the JP firmware (assuming your 902 was originally a japanese model, or was previously using jp firmware).

so: try as master reset (code should be 9999).

if no fix, get it flashed to HK (the best, most stable 902sh firmware).

cruiser cable is used to flashing/unlocking. IMHO, it is not a safe cable for working on CID73 model 903sh (January 2006 or later). When using the cruiser cable, you have to use the phone's battery or 2xAA batteries for powering the flash module on the phone. As 'batteries' can be unreliable or can die during flashing, they are not recommended. If you have some tool that allows you to output 5V (USB 2.0 power output) or anything between 3V - 5V, then that would be ok but all the connections can be clumsy.

Also, as TMS requires logs and the cruisercable requires so many attachments, this is why people like myself, Timsta and others do not recommend remote unlocking solutions (for Sharp products) or remote flashing (for any products). For the piece of mind, its just simpler to have a professional do it.

Hope this isn't too obvious, but makes it a little easier to live with:

Put most common menus in the shortcuts button, which bypasses reprovisioning.

i cant even master reset it... the code is wrong... i tried 9999.. and 1111 and 1234... but nothing... i have no idea what that damn code is.. and now you got me curious if i can just reset.... please anyone knows the code let me know.. 902SH

It's normally 9999. If that's not working then someone's changed it.
