8125 Locks Up/Shuts Off?

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or know what to do to solve it?:

Sometimes, out of the blue I'll go to use my 8125 and it's "turned off". I mean the top green light is still blinking like it's on, but the screen is shut off, and if I hit any buttons nothing happens. It won't let me do a soft reset or anything like that. The only way I can get it back to working normally is taking the battery out and putting it back in, then turning the 8125 back on.

I thought it might be the battery but I replaced the battery and the same thing happens so I'm stumped. Any help is appreciated!

I haven't been able to find a solution for this either but there is a website link/info here somewhere it talks about activesync being the culprit and obviously, it may be one of the softwares you have installed.

I have the same issue with the 8525, except that I can press the reset button with the stylus and the phone does respond. I have no idea what the problem is.

I never had this problem with my 1st 8125 that I had, but I dropped and broke it...now I have this one and it happens like every other day. Is it a chance that it could be a piece of software I put on it, even though I had the same software on my 1st 8125 and it worked fine? The only difference is I put Agile Messenger on my storage card on this 8125...with my first 8125 it was on the main phone itself?

Perhaps there is something Bout the storage card. I never had a problem unti I added the storage card. However, I also added a couple of programs on the card (Mapopolis and iGuidance). I don't know yet if perhaps one of these is the culprit or the card itself.

What are both of those programs you mentioned? What exactly do they do?

They are mapping and GPS programs.
