BlackJack Screen static/scanlines...?

So I got my Samsung BlackJack for Xmas and the day after I noticed the screen was flickering and had "scan lines" going all over it. I was really pissed, esp on the 2nd day it was already f*cking up.
Has anyone else had this? Cingular said they don't have any in stock so I'm stuck with it. The scnalines only happen randomly for extended periods 1hr +. It is not related to shaking/tapping it, temperature or battery level so I'm lost.
It's really sad to see such a beautiful phone/screen go to sh*ts!!!!!

sounds like you just got a bad one... Cingular should replace it ASAP. They are usually pretty good about that, I had an early Motorola MPx220 and it took 5 of them before I got one that basically worked.
The Blackjack is a very nice phone (IMHO) and that particular problem hasn't been reported here yet as far as I know.

They replaced it! this one the buttons don't feel as nice but I'm hopingit just needs to be broken in!
