Switching from 8125 to 8525. What to do?

I just purchased an 8525 and need to switch all my files and info over from my 8125.
What is the easiest way to do this?

Connect via ActiveSync with your 8125 and copy all of your files you want to keep to a folder on your PC. Also, save all of your contacts to your SIM using SIM Manager under Programs.

Then connect your 8525 with Activesync and move all files over to your 8525 from the folder you saved on your PC. Using SIM Manager on your 8525 move your contacts to the phone.

Can't the contacts be moved in some simple way from outlook over to the new phone?

yes it can. it'd probably be both the easiest and quickest way to do so.

After alot of surfing the web. There is a glitch in windows mobile 5 that won't allow you to transfer your contacts over to the new device. The fix is to uncheck the contacts box and sync the device once, and after that the recheck the contacts box and voila it will sync.
I couldn't for the life of me figure out why it wouldn't let me sync! But this fix did it for me.
