E815 disassembly and assemble to replace LCD

I'm new here, and I did some searching and it was pretty difficult to find any info on how to take my E815 apart and repair it. Is it against the rules to discuss or post pictures? Is there another site I need to go to?

I finally found some assembly help at an obscure link and the parts.

My E815 took a hit on the inside LCD and it is mostly bright white when powered up. Incoming and outgoing calls work fine. As I said, I found some info on-line. I doubt that I would have figured it out without breaking something first.

Try here: http://home.earthlink.net/~teknogroover/v710face.html
V710 and E815 are pretty much the same.

Tyler has it right, the assembly and disassembly instructions for the V710 and E815 are identical. And be very careful of the flex, it's easy to tear.

The speaker connection is also a PITA from time to time and the main lens is normally not reusable.

So far I've replaced the inside LCD and the ear piece. Working good.
Thanks for the guide.

my phone got wet 2 months ago and the top half died a few hours after getting wet, but the phone still "functioned". I got an e815 off a buddy and swapped his top half for mine and the phone works great now! Another funny thing, when i put my top half on his phone, it worked too. I think the tiny ZIF type connector came loose. If a phone gets wet, DO NOT SEND IT FOR WARRANTY, I sent mine out thinking "they wouldn't notice". They sent it back almost 3 months later and I just repaired it myself. I don't think the technician even opened the phone because when the phone is opened, usually the plug to connect the top half should be disconnected as not to stretch the ribbon cable.
