I have Verizon but been thinking about switching to amp'd. Im not realy sure what phone to get because iv been hearing that the Jet has all kinds of problems. so probably going to get the Hollywood. Another reson Im thinking about switching is becuse its cheaper.

has any 1 had any problems with Amp'd. if so, then what?

Hollywood is a heck of a phone its based on one of the best verizon phones ever the e815 and its fully loaded.

Who or what is AMP'd? Are they a local carrier?

Where do you need service? You need to make sure you will have coverage everywhere you use the the phone - where you live, work, travel and play. I would think Verizon's coverage would be much better, unles AMP's piggybacks on someone's network.

AMP'd uses the Verizon network.

I would strongly recommend the Hollywood.

verizon is excellent
