PC doesnt recognize 8125

OK, I havent had my 8125 long, and I want to add a couple programs to it that I have dled on my computer. I plugged it to the comp with the USB cable and then nothing else happens. The phone is powered on. It doesnt recognize it as a drive or anything like a mp3 player or whatever would do. Im probably missing something simple but I dont know what to do. The manual just says connect them, and thats all it says. Can anybody help me?

You need install ActiveSync on your PC first. Your Phone should come with a CD that has ActiveSync and Outlook.
