MySpace Issues On The 8125

I've never really had any issues with MySpace on my 8125. I check it at least once a day, every day. But a few days ago, I go to get on it, type in my e-mail and password like normal, but instead of signing on to my page, it takes me to a page like I entered the incorrect e-mail password...it says in big wording "YOU MUST BE SIGNED IN TO DO THAT". No matter how many times I keep retrying it, it always takes me to that page now. I tried it on my PC every day and I'm still fine. E-mail hasn't changed, password hasn't changed, etc. Does anyone know what the problem could be on my 8125?

Had a similar problem with my 8525, if you are sure you're entering the details then you ARE logged into myspace. To avoid that page click Home, then click Home again ( if you are not already on the Hi, <NAME HERE> screen ), worked for me.

Yeah I did that to b egin with, and it worked for me as well, but now when I try it, it just takes me back to the "You Must Be Logged In To Do That" page as well

Well thats because they are trying to block all cell phones from accessing myspace without paying extra for "myspace mobile". you need to edit the registry so you're phone identifies itself as a desktop pc running explorer 6.0 or higher to websites. I wish i rememberred how to do it. but if you search here or at htc-developers.com, you will find it.

or just pay 15 extra dollars and get pieplus from reenesoft. its worth it and ads alot of features that are missing from the pocket internet explorer and fixes that problem.

Do you have a reliable link for that pieplus? What other features does it have besides allowing me to view MySpace?

That was ALWAYS a problem for me, even when my MySpace was working (like the way you described your's as working). If I could get mine back to working that way, I'd be fine now with not being able to reply to messages, approve new friends, etc.

I had the 8125 and myspace always acted strangely for me. so i did the registry edit. to make the 8125 identify itself as explorer 6. i found out about that trick at xda-developers.com in the forum. You should really check that site out. but as for a really simple program pieplus. you can get that here.

http://www.reensoft.com/PIEPlus/

It also adds tabbed browsing, a forward button and lots of other good features. Its definitely worth the 15 dollars.
