Ok, I'm semi savvy with bitpim, super, and just about every other program you could instruct me to use, and I have gotten very close to getting my video rintones to work correctly with a few problems.
1. What settings does everyone use when reformatting a video to 3gp?
-I've gotten video to work, but no sound yet.
2. The only way I have gotten video to work is to pixmessage myself a video that was recorded with the phone, and then overwrite it with something else in bitpim, thus the video ends up on my phone memory instead of my card memory, not crazy about that...
3. I've successfully loaded my 3gp converted videos into the ringers folder on my card, and gone though the neccessary steps to load them with bitpim, but when they load the size always drops to 8kb and when i attempt to play them in my ringtones the phone just does nothing.
So I guess I really just want to know how to store the video ringtones on my card, I'm close to getting the settings right, I just haven't had the time to play around with Super lately
Thanks a lot!

#1 video ringers.. have too go in the ringer folder on the phone, NOT the video folder on the card, NO choice about.
#2 if this is for a ringer ID, the contact must have picture turned off, so the ringer provides the sound and the video
#3 video res 176*144 20 seconds or less, the call goes to voice mail at 25 seconds unless, you disabled voicemail on your account
suitable settings 3g2, 176*144, video bit rate 160k, ACC sound at 56k or 64k

ok, don't wanna repeat the obvious, but thats a definite no video ringers on my card? i attempted to put them in the "ringers" folder not videos.
tomorrow i have jack to do all day so i will spend a few hours dickin around with all this shizzle, so...
3g2 is cool? i was under the impression that i had to use 3gp from all the posts i read. (i read posts for like 2 weeks before i even got the phone) love it by the way....so please no one ***** about me not reading posts (completely understandable though, noobs can be annoying as hell on these things)
I haven't set any pic ringers yet, i think i just had the wrong settings when i converted the video, gonna try the info i was given by moped (thanks a million for caring!) but if anyone has a way to save them to the card that would be glorious... Thanks to everyone who may reply!

there is a hack for mp3 ringers on the card, and bitpim as been programed to do this for the mp3's
but bitpim doesn't import videos thru the GUI windows even into the flix or MF folders so ( and certainly NOT into the ringer folder ), the only way i know of getting video ringers to work is to use the file system option and put them in the mr folder on the phone
be sure to reboot ( cycle ) the phone before you try to use them, the phone has to rebuild the dat files used for indexing or it can't find the new ringers
try the twilight zone on your phone

Yeah, that's a no go on video ringers on the card. They only work on the phone it would seem.

there is just isn't enough memory to make video ringers for everybody in your contact list
but how many people are special enough to rate a video ringer
