Is your car male or female?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

For some of us, we treat our cars like its family, and sometimes even name our cars.

So, do you "treat"/"call" your car as a male or female? And if you named it, what is its name?

I refer to my car as a female, and just named her "maddie" (aka Maddie Mazda or Maddie Mazda3).

(yeah, its weird, but I like it)

My friends name my car, I just think all my car's are dudes. No offense dude, but I think naming your car a girls name is kinda gh3y. Congrats on the car and all, but do away with that name.

I consider my 02 Nissan Altima 2.5SL a female, don't know why... but as stated before, it really depends on the car you drive.

My 1987 Plymouth Voyage SE was a male with a name of Van Über.
When I had it...that is.

I don't know the gender of my 2003 Suzuki XL-7 since I didn't really assign a gender or name to it, but I assume it's a male since it's an SUV with 4x4/RWD and rides on a truck frame.

all of mine are girls. and their names are their respective models. makes it easier to remember and isn't too cheesy.

mine is a female, just like my mazda3.

why? because randomly, while getting my three 8's in the licence, the random letters before the numbers are AMY lol.

so my mx5 is called amy =), and shes female. hot, but very loud and somewhat uncivilized female

I don't usually give my car a "sex", but I usually don't get all that affectionate with my cars.

However, I think the best way to view a car is as a female. Historically, male captains and pilots have often referred to boats and planes as females, and it seems more fitting somehow.

After all, if you think of the analogy, a man would probably rather be getting into a female's "undercarriage" than a guy's...

My Bronco is a beast and is definately a male, its the OJ truck. My car, it has my name on it, so I assume its a male as well. I don't really name my cars even though I love cars.

My car is a dude. 00 Honda Accord EX with V6. It's a dude's car anyway. His name is "twinkie," because it's a Japanese car with American engine (J30 - USDM), behaves just like American cars, and the car was born here too

My Q45 is male for sure, it is a big *** body with V8 4.1L it's just a monster.
My Accord is another story, its like a weak *****, that thing doesn't have acceleration, but good economy car so i consider it to be a female for sure

Haven't really thought about it, but i guess it makes more sense to give it a female name than a guy name. Don't know what to name it though.
