Ok, it comes down to 2 for me. The LG CU500 or the Razr V3i or V3r.

I have played with both in the store as much as i could. Here is what i am really looking for.

Good RF
Loud Ringer
Loud Earpiece
Good Sounding MP3 player ( with headphones on, not thru phone speakers)
Nice Inner and Outter Screen

Which would you say would give me the best out of those 2 phones?

I have owned many others and reaslly it comes down to these 2.

I am more interested in MP3 Sound Quality and Loudness THRU MY HEADPHONES not much the speaker on the phone itself.

Also i like to add. I dont use ANY internet features at all and i text message maybe 5 times a year. So Net Services is not a issue with me.

I had the LG for almost a month, but returned it for a bunch of little quirks it had. I traded it in for the v3i. I am much happier with the v3i. The RF on the LG was not that great. I live in the Chicagoland area where 3G service is operational, but it seemed if I didn't get a great 3g signal I would lose the call. In my basement with one small window I either got 1 bar or none at all wih the LG. With the Razr I get 3-4 bars and perfect sounding calls. RF was the biggest deal for me. What the purpose of having a cell phone if you can't use the 'phone'. The only thing I miss with the LG is the 3G data speed! It was nice while it lasted, but I don't use data that much. And the LG has a very plasticy feel to it. It seemed to losen & creak after only having it for 3 wks. The Razr feels more durable. And it still feels this way after having it for 2 mos.

Good RF = RAZR by a mile!
Good Ringer = Both are loud, LG gets a slight edge for its stereo speakers.
Loud Earpiece = LG. The 3vi is OK. Not great if in a loud area like a shopping mall. But there are hacks for the razr to increase the volume. It's been fine for me w/out hack.
MP3 Sound = Equal. Both sound good thru the headset.
Screens = LG was a bit brighter but the Razr has a much larger inner screen.

The RAZR is limited via iTunes to only 100 songs. Plenty for me. There is no limit on the LG. The Razr can play regular MP3's via it's "sounds" menu with no limit to number of songs, but you can't use playlists via 'sounds' menu. RAZR has ipod interface. LG's mp3 player interface was OK.

I also noticed I had a better range & reception with my bluetooth headset with the RAZR. The LG gave me a lot of cracklin if I put it in my pocket. RAZR fine in pocket.

The RAZR wins as a "phone". The LG wins as a multimedia device. Plus I believe the LG is $100 cheaper thru Cingular.

If your looking for a good mp3/phone you won't go wrong w/either phone.

Good luck.

why not go for the sync...it like that one much better than my V3i. Much more solid feeling phone, external memory card so you have have as many songs as you like.

Neither.

You will get the best of both worlds, the V3xx is dropping very, very soon. You will get the great RAZR build quality with 3G data and a better camera than the LG. I know they are both 1.3 megapixel but the pictures and screen on the V3xx is QVGA and the phone has a GoForce 4800 GPU for graphics which in turn produces better quality photos and the screen is fantastic. Wait a few days or weeks and you will be glad you did.
