V3c Screen Unlock code

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I bought a Verizon V3c on ebay and it comes with a locked code. The problem is that I don't know the code to unlock it. I know that nokia has an initial codes numbers to do a factory default when it happens. I like to know if motorola have something to do a factory default without put the lock code. Thanks.

When I got my phone all the passwords and codes were by default, zeroes.

But then again I dont have a Verizon Phone.

if the code is 4 digits long, then the default is the last four digits of the phonenumber the phone was originally activated under.

if the code is 6 digits long, then the default is 000000.

but theres no way of knowing what it could possibly be if the codes are not default. not even verizon could help you in this case.. well actually they could but most likely they wont.

check the seem edits, there is likely to be one that contains the passwords.

if not, you can always just start guessing. if you did 50 a day for the next 200 days, you would have tried them all.

You can try this,

Use p2kSeem and look at these addresses.

Seem 2784 rec 0001 bytes length A : 4 digit lock code

Seem 2786 rec 0001 bytes length E : 6 digit security code

Seem 0055 rec 0001 bytes length E : 6 digit subsidy code

good luck.

Mr. Mike, The lock info you gave for subsidy lock works like a charm on most CDMA motorola phones, but I have found a problem with an older model, the e310. By chance you don't know of the location for that models subsidy lock do you?

you had to read memory phone with bitpim
http://bitpim.sourceforge.net/
and find in file in hex editor your unlock code

Thanks MisterMike for those adresses, you saved me.
I want to make clear that the P2kSeem is set on Bytes (h) 7a
To read the code adresses you need Bytes (h) with 0000
