Antenna and exclamation point - no signal on my 8525

i get to work this morning, grab my phone from the console in my car and realize that i've got no signal. i soft reset, i turn the phone radio on and off a few times. nothing. i still have the exclamation point next to my antenna icon and no phone.

any thoughts? i was about to give 'er the old hard reset.

Are you in San Diego? Just asking cause of the SD at the end of your username. I'm using a Treo 750 and the same thing happened to me this morning. It still isn't working. I'm in Orange County, CA.

Problems with the network?? Although my Samsung SYNC is working fine.

Yes, i live in San Diego and work in Newport Beach. It dropped for me somewhere on the 73 toll road this morning. At least that's about where i received my last email.

Could be netowrk probs, i suppose.

Anyone else having trouble?

I'm over by the Tustin Marketplace and got a signal for about 5 min. and then it dropped again. Hasn't come back since.

*Whew*... thought it was just me... In the OC area; signal dropped somewhere in Orange and hasn't returned since (Orange -> Santa Ana -> Tustin -> Irvine)

P.S. Tried both Hard and Soft Resets... Signal comes back for like 2 minutes after resetting, then disappears again. *blah*

Ewww... sorry you had to hard reset. I'm going with it being a network problem. If it requires a hard reset, this thing's going back since it's only a few days old!

just hung up w/ cust service. she made a test call...nothing. popped out my SIM, read her the number on my card, on hold for 2 min, restarted the phone, another test call and all is well in the world. everything's working.

when asked if it was me popping out the card or her doing something she said, "i just gave you a little push," whatever that means.

anyway, i'm working again and i'm right next to John Wayne Airport, for what it's worth.
