www.cingular.com

Go to Device Support and choose the 8525. Pick the topic you want.

well all you have to do is use your CD that came with your 8525,

1. Pop it into your CD-ROM Drive.
2. Right click on start and go to Explorer
3. Go your CD rom drive (D: OFFICE10)
4. Go to the following directory \OEM\APPS\Drivers\USB Modem
5. Copy the directory USB Modem to your Desktop (or wherever you want)
6. On your phone, go to Files->Programs->Wireless Modem
7. Click on Menu then Start (Make sure Active Sync is off otherwise it wont work)
8. Plug your Phone into the USB cable at this point
9. Windows XP will then detect a Modem and it will ask you for the install file for the modem. (Point it to the USB Modem Directory folder you saved to your desktop. It is looking for USBMDM.INF. Let it finish installing.
9. After successful installation. Launch the USBModem_Dialer.exe
10. It will ask for UserName and Password along with APN

UserName: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.com
Password: CINGULAR1
APN: wap.cingular
(This information is what I got from my phone. I assume everyones is the same.
Then click on Dial (If you click Enter on your keyboard the Dialer will disappear. Once it connects, try to open your web browser.

HOPE THIS HELPS

I just read the directions on Cinguar.com. Its a little different then the way I did it. Does anyone know what the difference is? I see they are using ISP rather then WAP. My way works but it could be wrong

Your way is fine too. You don't need to use the HTC Modem utility on the computer, just create the dial up connection yourself.

Wow, I did it too, didn't think it was going to be that easy. Maybe I should read that user manual!
