w300i - how do i make my voicemail notification ring continuously?

when i receive a voicemail, my phone 300i will alert me once and then display an icon on the screen. i receive page-out messages in the middle of the night and i'd like the phone to remind me of the voicemail....say every minute or so....until i retrieve the voicemail.

for the life of me, i can't figure out how to do this on this phone. customer service told me to choose an option under settings that does not exist on my phone (the online manual he was looking at had a different sub menu than mine had!). the updater says i'm at the latest code level.

any help appreciated.

This is not a Motorola with a nagging reminder that won't go away until you get the VM or text message. This is how SE does things. You hear the ringer and feel a vibrate if you have vibrate on one time and that is it.

you can turn that off on all motorolas under the profile settings for each ringer profile you can set reminder to beep, vibrate or off. its not nagging its useful for some people, and for those who dont like it just turn it off. so its good to have the option instead of not having it altogether like on SE.

yeah...my previous nextel motorola would ring until it woke me up.

my buddy just switched to cingular and got a synch. he has the option for continuous alert. guess i got the wrong phone for my purpose.
