Possibly damaged k750i while modding...

I recently replaced the rear panel as well as the middle piece with the orange w800 part from cnn.cn I reassembled everything and it seemed to work fine. I performed all the tests in the service menu and it passed flawlessly.

For some reason it has trouble finding the network now and it either displays "no network coverage" or it constatly displays searching.

The reception is spotty and it seems to work in very random spots brieflly. did I somehow damage the antennae while modding it?. The phone is pretty well useless now some im not sure if it can be fixed or should I start looking for another one? thx

if you've damaged the antenna you can get another from cnn.cn. I found with
my 810i that the antenna didn't always "click" into place completely so there was
a small gap near the pcb contacts. Also there's the small BT antenna near the camera
switch that can affect performance too.

im sorta having the same problem, except i didnt damage mine from modding it, although i did do the mod which rocks ^_^. i digress, my phone got ran over by a car but everything works perfectly *which is totally amazing* except for the reception i get like fido said i only get 1-2 bars on g instead of e and sometimes it says emergency call only/network coverage. im interested in seeing if its the antenna thats broke and i want to know how to replace/fix it
