Notes Section of Outlook Contacts Truncated

I have a Blackjack running MS Push with a Microsoft Exchange Server. I have about 3,000 contacts. About 100 of those have information in the notes section of the Contact with about 500 characters of information. The Blackack only shows about 50 of those characters.

Anyone know of a fix?

Somewhere in the forums and most likely buried is a thread that discusses this at length. It is basically a known flaw with the WM5 o/s and Microsoft has promised to fix it in future releases. A work around, although not a great solution, is to hit edit for a particular contact in which you are trying to view the whole notes field and you will be able to see it all. The other limitation is that the notes field in contacts is limited to only accept a given amount of characters. I don't recall what that number is.

Sure can see it in Edit Mode! I love Howard Forums and Thank You for the speedy post. In less than 60 minutes I have a work-a-round.

Your welcome. I also make use of the note field in some of my business contacts for some references related to the contact and not being able to get that info on the device was problematic for the obvious reasons. Hopefully it will be fixed in the not to distant future.
