Poor LG.

The b00M...the Sync is.

Small gripes, but hey...

hmmm, wonder what it says for the credibility of this "poll" with the v3i coming in a close 2nd.

That the RAZR design is still attractive?

"48 advanced mobile users in Boston, MA, tested the performance of seven mobile music devices on the basis of Music Feature Quality (Check), Menu/UI (Moto sold 50mil razrs with this UI), Keypad (Check), Display (Check) and Style/Design ((Check)."

That was my thinking as well.

I wonder what year the "48 advanced mobile users in Boston, MA" are living in if they indeed gave high marks for RAZR. One things for sure, not 2007.

Heh...if you say so. The Moto UI sucks horribly, and the 50 million people (or whatever) sure as heck didn't buy the phone for the UI (nor the MP3 player, for that matter).

doesn't mean it's the best music phone on the market. It just means it is the best of the group of phones that were tested. The LG Cu500 destroys it in sound quality as well as having stereo 3d sound. I think it has been established rather well that the SYNC is inferior to the LG Cu500 when sound quality and the loudness of the speakers are concerned. What does this say for the quality of the testing when the Sync isn't even the best music phone as far as music is concerned even on it's carrier. I am not saying the LG is a better phone, or isn't. When it comes to music, the LG beats it. Hands down.

I would say the same thing. The LG is much better specially in speakerphone.

What are you talking about both have two speakers and both have stereo sound.

The Sync does not have stereo sound. Stereo bluetooth speakers, work well with it. No one listens to their music without their headphones, but when viewing video or other multimedia, the Sync is lacking. It is not as loud as the LG. The Sync may be a better phone overall, but we are talking about the phone for music.

How in the world does it beat the w810 or n91 in music software, i scream BULL****

Posted by: Robdec

After playing around with friends W810 I definitely think the Sync is a better music player. Maybe I'm just used to the Samsung software but I didn't like the W810. I still prefer my Sansa Mp3 player but the Sync is decent.

Posted by: i0wnj00

The only problem I have with the Sync is that the external display requires a firm press to light up the screen/unlock the keys and the time isn't displayed when music is playing. I still prefer to use my HTC Wizard as an mp3 even though its bulky.

You can say anything you want about the mp3 player but the screen is the real seller on this handset.

ive never had the sync, but how can it win as a mp3 player, i mean i had the w810 and i now have the n73, the w810 had so many quick keys for the music player, u can multitask with music player, play games and listen to music, i guess my question is how doers the sync work can u do those things, if im listening to music can i browse my phone contacts and ect while music still plays??? Im not saying it might not have the best sound, but does it have a better software, playlist tracks artist ect.....
