This program smashes internet explorer, and for me pages seem to load significantly faster. Its free, to download it got to the Opera website. You must open it using Midilet.

Its faster but i sometimes get annoyed navigating around on it... Howard forums for example, i think is easier to view on the pocket IE. Also, (unless i'm missing something) data entry is a hassle. Even entering an address on the home page, you have to tap, then tap again, type, then hit menu and ok. Otherwise its nice for myspace and sites with a lot of pictures.

I prefer opera mobile or mini and pie.

Whats the difference between opera mobile and mini on the 8525? I used opera mobile on my 6682, i guess its similar to that?

There's a guy on another forum that states, "there's a known issue with Opera Mini and Mobile, on Windows Mobile devices". He says it corrupts the registry or something and you can't uninstall it completely. He also says it messes up PIE.

Is there any truth to this? Actually, he states something like, "it's well known on howardforums"...

I haven't been able to find any of these "well-known" posts about the problem.

ive used opera mobile on all may window device audiovox 5600, 2125,8125,8525, black jack and now treo 750 and i have never had any problems with them screwing up pie. but i do know its hard to get rid of it. if you set it to be your main browser.

Opera Mini sucks on the 8525...I use IEPlus now and all is well...it's fast and it supports tabbed browsing.
