BJ Homescreen Background PIX low Quality?

hey, im having a problem, im trying to set a picture for my bg for my blackjack, but whenever i do, it stretches the picture slighty and makes it looks low quality on the background....but when i view the picture normally on the blackjack its perfect....anyone else having this problem? it doesnt matter how high quality the picture is, if i resize it on the comp for my screen or what format its in...it still turns out the same, thanks.

What resolution are you resizing the picture to?

In building new backgrounds for my Blackjack, I start with a 640x480 image size. Just easier to work with that size to start with. Then, once I have the image the way I want it, I resize it down to 320x240. If you are using something like Photoshop, be sure you flatten out all the layers and use 8 bit color. I also do about 75% compression when converting to .jpg. These pictures turn out great on my phone.

i was really just googling desktop wallpapers and resizing them to 320x240
