Problems with activesync explore

With both my 2125 and 8125 I can't access my phone via explore. When connected, I click on explore and it opens the contents of my computer hard drive. What could be going wrong that would prevent me from seeing the contents of my device?

You are not getting a true connection.

AS is a pain.
Here is the latest version; get it.
Get AS Toggle as well and enable AS only when you need to sync.
If you run Outlook, among other MS apps, AS tends to make things goofy.

You're right, AS is a pain. I have been using the lastest version and don't use Outlook. Any other ideas?

You should first access AS on both your PC/Notebook and phone and delete all known devices prompting a fresh connect. You may not need more drastic measures.

Try here and here . I visited these sites a few times when I was having issues.

Other than that, throw everything out the window and start over!
