Best 8525 Backup Software (using Mac)

I just received an 8525 and after spending some time setting it up would like to be able to back it up either to a folder on my memory card or my computer. I am using missing sync with a mac for contacts and appointments but would like to back up installed apps and user data such as preferences and email settings in case of the need for a hard reset,

Suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Richard

Richard,

Unfortunately, you are way ahead of me, as I didn't even know the product, Missing Sync for Mobile Windows (v3.01) existed until I saw your post.

Quick question.

I assume you purchased this as you couldn't use Bluetooth or the tethering cable as you are going from a PC device to a MAC. Correct?

Thanks,

Bruce (MacBook Pro 15, MacBook Pro1,1)

Hi Bruce,

To sync with contacts, calendar, Itunes, Iphoto and more Missing Sync works great on my G4 12" Powerbook. I can however use the 8525 as a modem by just installing the phone driver and using bluetooth.

What I'm looking for is a way to back up preferences, settings and installed apps.

Richard

I don't know of any backup programs to backup to the Mac. But there are some that can backup to a storage card. I've used Sprite Backup successfully with a Treo 750v. I've heard SPB Backup is pretty good also.
